Analisis Kinerja Solar Cell 100 W Berbahan Polikristalin Dengan Sistem Pendingin Konveksi Bebas

Kebutuhan energi listrik yang terus meningkat serta dampak penggunaan energi fosil terhadap lingkungan mendorong pemanfaatan energi terbarukan, salah satunya panel surya (photovoltaic/PV). Panel surya dapat memanfaatkan energi matahari yang tersedia secara berkelanjutan dan membantu mengurangi dampak emisi gas rumah kaca. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kinerja panel surya Maysun Solar tipe MS100M-39 berkapasitas 100 Wp dengan metode pendinginan konveksi bebas serta mengetahui perubahan temperatur permukaan panel. Pengujian dilakukan selama tiga hari pada pukul 08.00–16.00 WIB dengan pengamatan flux radiasi, daya keluaran, dan temperatur menggunakan Thermal Imager Camera HT-175. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan flux radiasi meningkat hingga 70 W/m² dengan temperatur rata-rata panel mencapai 39,3°C, sedangkan citra thermal menunjukkan temperatur maksimum sebesar 59,8°C. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan radiasi matahari diikuti kenaikan temperatur panel sehingga pengendalian temperatur penting untuk mempertahankan kinerja panel. Kapasitas 100 Wp dengan target efisiensi 63% menjadi acuan dalam pengembangan kinerja sistem panel surya yang lebih optimal dan berkelanjutan.
